Singapore and onwards starting march 2010!!!

Hey i will be getting to Singapore for the beginning of March 2010 and from there want to travel round asia. Thinking of heading to Indonesia first then up to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. I have 4/5 months to travel this area before I go to India and have no set route or plan so very flexible for another persons imput.
I want to see as much as possible in this time but got quite a small budget after spending too much money in Australia so need to do some back to basics backpacking

I'm heading to Thailand end of March and will be there until mid-April... Later I am hoping to go to Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam, probably around July.

Currently I live in Malaysia and I'm a teacher so won't be able at this time to travel constantly but can meet there...

wow wish you was starting to travel now cos you are and have been travelling to the places where i want to go.I am looking to go to Australia next month and travel from there on more or less where your going to.Could i ask you for some advice and bother you with some questions!Now where did you get your ticket from cos my brain is just getting twisted with all the different types of tickets and who to get them from.How much money do you think roughly you spent in Australia and how long were you out there for?Did you just stay in hostels there or actually camp.I am thinking of camping too to save some money.Ideally i would love to find soemone with a car and travel all over and stop at night camp with lit fire and move on the next day.I have heard of gumtree and have been looking at it everyday to get the jist of what adds are on there.Sorry i will stop now hope you are having so much fun and i am truly jealous lol!
