I would like to chat but am in the US so must do it via email, at least for a while. Did you plan to join a group or just wing it? I usually prefer to not join groups as they are a more expensive way to travel. I don't know much about Sabah but will research it. I enjoy trekking, climbing, sailing, snorkeling, ocean kayaking - just about anything. I don't do drugs. I've done a bit of traveling in past years but haven't been out of the US since 2004. I NEED to go! I'm 64 and in pretty decent shape altho not quite what I was in '04.

What sort of interests do you have and what did you anticipate doing in Sabah? Are you a Brit or do you only live there?

I've been in Nepal several times, Peru, Ethiopia, Sea of Cortez, Brit Isles, Europe, the Grenadines... I would like to travel in Spain and Portugal, sail the Med. esp. the Greek Isles, South America is almost always nice... Am considering Kashmir - I have contacts there.
