Hi,
I'm planning to go to Cuba in March 2010. Anyone interested to join me? Im 29 years old female living in London and looking for travel companion someone 25-35 years old. Would be great to be on the same flight as it's a long one!

Hello Madam,

Cuba March 2010 sounds interesting.

A small introduction about myself - this is Yogesh, a 31-year-old male from Bangalore, India.
Never been to Cuba till date.... I have travelled to USA, UK, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, and Thailand..... umm... little bit of experience.

Currently I work for British Airways in India. If you are staying in UK, and if you are okay we start the journey from
London Heathrow. My dates are March 1 to March 12.
Well after that I have to get back to work in India.

Let me know your thoughts on this....

Im very keen on good companion, preferrably female one but everyone is welcome of course.

Maybe i should be more specific as to who Im looking for to travel with.
Im travelling to Cuba because I feel this country has got a great vibe, never been there but read a lot and I cant wait to put my feet on Cuban ground. I would enjoy someone who is sociable but at the same time respects others privacy. Someone who likes to laugh, and who would be happy to spend crazy nights listening to Cuban music. Also someone who wants to meet real Cuban people rather than just being in tourist resort.

So! thats more or less for now.

Im in the same sit,no one really want to reply..anyways im 28 female live in gloucestershire...and actually i was thinkin bout mexico...but was in my mind that from cancun cuba its like 3hrs boat ride only...Its one of my plan....sooo would be great to share some contact details and discuss bout it!!!

Yesterday, I returned from a 2 week trip to Cuba. I travelled the length of the country from Vinelas in the West to Santiago de Cuba in the East. The weather was quite cold, especially in the West. I did not touch the tourist spots and met lots of local people.

A couple of tips. It is well worth taking a filtered water bottle. The initial cost is high [about £40.00], but well worth it. You will more than recover this cost by not having to buy bottled water. In Cuba, you can't even brush your teeth with the tap water.

The other thing is ~ If you can, take lots of small bars of soap; Pens and pencils etc. Cuba is a 'poor' country and such items are much appreciated. [Be discrete in giving such items to adults and children].
