Manchester girl going India early Jan 2010

I'm flying into mumbai early jan 2010 and am planning on making my way to south of india then working my way back up to goa and just chilling for a good 3-4 weeks after hectic work stuff. I then plan to see the main sights of India i.e Taj Mahal of course, ganges, pink city of Japhur, Rajastan before making my way over to Thailand for further chilling out situations! Just split up with boyf so need to let my hair down, relax and see some amazing stuff. Would be great to share it with someone of like mind. Even if its just the beginning bit cos I'm a bit scared!

This is Sameer 39 male working in New Delhi India. I usually travel alone but now I would love to have some company. I m looking for travel buddies now onwards to travel around India (specially Rajasthan And Himachal in January and February 2010).
I am a mature nature loving travel liking financially reasonably comfortable middle aged reliable guy who is interested in friendly travel companion from different countries of the world interested to visit India. I m looking for someone who will be Impulsive, Adventurous, honest, reliable and open minded. I am all of these things, plus fairly level headed and I am looking for someone similar. I do have great knowledge of Indian Religions, socio cultures ,General psyche ,Traditions ,do s and don As I mentioned I m based at Delhi and I m a frequent traveler so I m looking for travel partners to travel along with me on weekends. I would prefer people in same age group(above 30). I do have a vehicle (car) with me and often I go traveling in my car. I love to explore new places and adventure.
I am up for going anywhere, but would like to visit the following in the month of January 2010.

23-1-2010 Will start from Delhi in the morning and head to Agra

24-1-2010 Agra, Fatehpur Sikri and will depart for Jaipur in evening

25-1-2010 Jaipur

26-1-2010 Jaipur and will Depart for Delhi in the evening

27/28-1-2010 Delhi

29-1-2010 Early morning drive to Shimla

30-1-2010 Shimla, kufri and Naldhera

1-2-2010 Delhi


I should be ok with sharing mid budget travel cost and accommodation. Other details if you require. I would prefer someone who can accompany me for entire trip but it would be great to meet up with someone for at least part of the Trip. Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome. Pls lemme know if u need any advice or help in Delhi. would love to hang around with people travelling to Delhi.

i'm hoping to trip out to india! starting in delhi, varansi,udaipur lakes,jaipur,agra then out east to chennai and tirumala hill, pondicherry and mamallapuram. and finally across to keralan backwaters, varankala, alepey, cochin, kovalam. and finally to fly home from mumbai. a 3/4wk trek
and looking for someone to accompany me. but in the interim very interested to gather some feedback on your trip?
